01

Comprehensive Case History

Your practitioner will spend time discussing your current discomfort, past medical history, lifestyle, and any relevant details (including old injuries or recent surgeries) to build a complete picture of your health.

02

Assessment and diagnosis

We will conduct a thorough physical assessment. This may involve observing your movement, posture, and performing specific diagnostic tests. We may ask you to undress to your underwear for the physical assessment, but we always ensure you are appropriately draped and comfortable.

Follow up appointments

Follow-up appointments (typically 25-30 minutes) focus on continuing the hands-on care, monitoring your progress, and making adjustments to your treatment plan. Treatment may involve a variety of hands-on techniques, including soft tissue massage, joint mobilization, stretching, and, depending on your condition, specific approaches like gentle cranial osteopathy or dry needling. We select the most appropriate methods to achieve your specific, individualized goals.

Empowering Your Recovery (Your Participation)

Effective recovery is a partnership. To ensure the benefits of your treatment are long-lasting, we will empower you with specific, actionable self-care advice. This often includes prescribed stretches, strengthening exercises, and practical postural or activity modifications. Your active role outside the clinic is key to maintaining your progress and preventing recurrence.
